He earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
He held a variety of positions in sales, marketing and operations management with the former parent company prior to the spinoff of the semiconductor business which formed ABLIC.
He is vice president and general manager of ABLIC U.S.A. Inc., and managing director of ABLIC Europe GmbH with responsibility for ABLIC operations throughout the Americas and EMEA.
I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in the spinoff of Seiko Instruments semiconductor operations to the establishment of ABLIC under the leadership of our former President and CEO Mr. Ishiai. Our Global Team of professionals was able to take the best parts of Seiko Instruments – our people and long history of analog semiconductor craftsmanship – and then rapidly and completely transform ABLIC operations into a word-class, global semiconductor manufacturer. Although we have more than 50 years of analog semiconductor experience, ABLIC was established from the ground up essentially allowing us to operate in startup mode and quickly evolve to the next level in our operations.
With our long history of products in battery operated devices, ABLIC has great experience and know-how in analog design making us a leader in developing low current consumption semiconductors focused on energy efficiency which we have been doing long before Green Energy was in demand. Our portfolio of low current consumption ICs has broad based potential in the market – anything that uses electricity (battery or wall power) has the possibility to use our Small, Smart and Simple products.
ABLIC is rapidly expanding our product portfolio with high performance products focused on Automotive, Medical and Industrial markets making this an exciting time for our future. Working with our teams and partners in the Americas and EMEA to support our customers (new and existing) and new opportunities makes me confident we are on the right path to bigger and greater ABLIC successes.
The ABLIC USA and ABLIC Europe teams are determined to expand ABLIC’s presence throughout the Americas and EMEA and bring ABLIC’s quality, craftsmanship and environmentally friendly products to an expanding market.
