He was involved in sales activities in Japan at first, but then in overseas sales.
Following that, he was assigned to former Seiko Instruments Sweden Representative Office  where for three years he worked in design-in for overseas clients.
After returning to Japan, he worked in sales management for globally expanding clients, then was sent to Hong Kong as the person responsible for semiconductor sales and products at former Seiko Instruments H.K. Ltd.. He subsequently went to Seiko Instruments Taiwan Inc. (currently ABLIC Taiwan Inc.) where he sold ABLIC products with local staff. Since returning to work in Japan in January 2022, he’s been working hard as the person responsible for the sales & demand chain domain.

After many years of working in sales, I’m now striving to optimize demand/supply chains. A demand/supply chain is a series of actions that starts with procuring raw materials to bring products to consumers, then goes through manufacturing, inventory management, distribution, and sales until the products are put into the hands of consumers.
In raw materials procurement, I am involves obtaining materials and components necessary for production from suppliers, and outsourcing production to outside subcontracted companies. In addition, I am working on production planning that are made in collaboration with the sales department and manufacturing department to determine how production will be carried out to fulfill market demand. To respond to customer demand, we pursue quick and stable distribution.

ABLIC semiconductors are used in a wide range of products, including in vehicles, smartphones, computers, medical equipment, and air conditioners, as well as major appliances and social infrastructure. I experienced the feeling of helping society through customers purchasing ABLIC products when I worked in sales. In my work today, I’m reminded again of the importance of providing even better services to customers through my involvement in an expansive demand/supply chain that includes procurement, production management, and distribution. I aim to collaborate with outside subcontracted companies and all ABLIC employees to make the world a better place by providing even more of the products customers need, when they need them.
